Servings: 16 balls
Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 16 dates
  • 50 g peanut Butter (3 tbsp)
  • 100 g rolled Oats (1 cup)
  • 1 tsp water optional, if needed
  • 1 pinch salt

Equipment

  • 1 Food processor

Method

  1. Pit the dates, then soak them in hot water for 10-15 minutes to soften, this makes them easier to blend.
  2. Blend the rolled oats in a food processor until they turn into a flour-like texture.
  3. Add the dates and peanut butter, then blend until the mixture looks crumbly but holds together when you press it between your fingers. If your processor is weaker, add a teaspoon of warm water to help it come together.
  4. Add a pinch of salt and blend briefly to combine.
  5. Scoop out small portions with a spoon and roll into balls using your hands.
  6. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
